Beauty Blender Review

Hello Ladies!

Today I'm going to share with you my thoughts about this Beauty Blender!
I purchased this from Stuff in Style last year. STUFF IN STYLE is an online store in Facebook. They are selling authentic skincare/makeup products and you may click their link if you want to take a glimpse of their products. Yes, I bought this last year and I admit that I am a certified procrastinator in posting my review very late. LOL.

I chose the black BB because it looks fancy rather than the pink one.  Aside from the reason that i love black, it seems that its less messier  and easier to clean. Well, i'm not pretty sure about that but those are just my few thoughts about it. Haha.

Honestly, I seldom use beauty tools in applying liquid foundations or concealers on my face. I am more comfortable in using my bare hands because i can feel that the product blends well on my skin due to friction. Due to my curiosity though, This Beauty Blender caught my attention. It's pricey for just a beauty sponge, it's roughly 900 pesos and i am guilty for splurging too much but when you give it a try, it would be a Life Changing experience on your make up world. Yes, It is!
All you have to do is to Wet, Squeeze and Bounce the sponge.

Flawless, right? LOL

Why I fell in love with Beauty Blender?

Easy application
Flawless Finish (no more streaky lines and cakey face)
Minimum water retention

What I don't love about it?

Maybe, the price. But as i've said it's a miracle sponge and it's worth it.

Will i repurchase?

Not for now, my sponge was almost a year old now and it's still in shape. :)

Moving Forward

Time flies really fast and 2016 is approaching within 4 days.
A lot of things happened to me this year.
I was able to travel, mingle and get along with others.
I resigned with my job and I am now taking a chance for a better future.
I lost a good friend and now he's in heaven.
Someone broke my heart.
I met my new found friends.
I spent Christmas at home with my family, i missed it after 3 years of working in the office even on Holidays.
Again, Time is what everybody needs.
Time is what i needed.
More time to move forward... To look forward.
For better days.
For better future.
For better version of me.

Review: K-Palette One Day Magic Eyeliner

Hello Dearies! How are you?
It's been months since the last time i posted here on my blog.  My outside world has been very busy but I finally got a little time for me to do a quick but awesome review! :)

Today I'm going to share my thoughts about K-Palette One Day Magic Eyeliner. I bought mine at Beauty Bar in Mall of Asia for 695 php. At first I would like to buy the latest 24h tattoo liner but i find it very thick when i swatch it on my fist. The beauty consultant also added that it's much better because you can control it easier, esp if you're a beginner in doing a cat eye. It's dual purpose because you can line at thin and thick strokes.

instructions and ingredients at the back

Sorry I'm not good in swatching. lol
This is my Cat-eye version. lol

Yes, the wings of my eyeliner are not always even. haha.

PROs:

> Easy to use.
> Waterproof. (Tested it for at least 8 hours because i can't wear eyeliner the whole day) haha.
> Easy to remove using wet wipes or makeup remover. I haven't tried to remove it by just soap and water.
> Very pigmented.

CONs:

> It's a little pricey but it's worth it!

Will I repurchase?

Definitely! I would love to try other K-Palette products too. That is if my budget permits though, haha.

Feel free to visit The Beauty Bar Stores of if you don't have time, they also have an online shop, just click this word here

Lipstick Review: Mac Matte Lipstick in Please Me

Girls cannot have enough lipsticks. Do you agree? :)
I do not wear make-up everyday but believe me, I cannot barely go out without any lip tint or color on my lips. I have dark lips and I am not so confident to show it outside world. lol

Today's topic would be my first impression review with Mac Matte Lipstick in the shade of Please Me. I've been longing for this since I watched MichelleDyy Makeup Tutorial and she used this shade.

Mac Matte lipstick in Please Me, P850 pesos.

I bought it from Stuff in Style,  it's an online shop and they sell authentic drugstore and high-end makeup/skin care products. I love shopping with them because they have a lot of payment options plus they're quickly response to your queries. My order arrived less than 24 hours, and I am living outside Metro Manila.
Honestly, For my lips I preferred red or coral shades because as I've mentioned awhile ago, I have dark lips and my skin color is "Morena" or Tan. I researched it before on what would be best for my skin tone. Then I found this wearing my MichelleDyy, I am her fan. She's a Filipina Youtube Guru and I guess we have same skin color as well. That's the time when I realized that pink lips is not just for fair skin.

The shade in Please me is suitable for all skin tones, It's Matte so i used a minimal amount of balm on my lips prior to it for easy application. It's perfect for office make up, or even for everyday use. If you want to achieve a no make up make up look, just fill in your brows and wear this lipstick then you're good to go!

For the price, it's somewhat expensive but a little application goes a long way because it's pigmented. It's worth buying for.

Lipstick swatch.

I didn't get a chance to take some photos wearing it yet but I'll just update my blog as soon as I have it. I guess that's it for today's bog.

Stay Happy and Lovely,

Quick Escapade: Bag of Beans, Bed and Breakfast.

Summer has just ended but nothing should stop us to enjoy and relax even in a short period of time.
We are earning from our jobs to make for a living so let's live our lives as much as we can while were still young. Am I making any sense here? lol

Me and my workmates went to Bag of Beans Tagaytay, Bed and Breakfast. It's a 90-minute ride from Manila or more if there's traffic. This is their new branch along Aguinaldo Highway.
You'll see this on your left side after your crossed the Ayala Mall (right side).

The ambiance was so good and very relaxing. The staffs are accommodating as well. It was Saturday and it's pay day so as expected, many customers arrived too. Food serving didn't take too long, it's around 15-20 minutes. While we're waiting, they also have a pastry/bakery shop so we can have something to intake with our tummies because were too hungry and impatient to wait for at least 20 minutes, jk.

Anyways, let's stop talking and stare with these photos.

No filter needed to view the beauty of Tagaytay

Perfect place to unwind. Some areas are still under construction.

Cheese bread for P120, so delicious!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all mommies!
You're all amazing!

I would like to thank my mom for all the sacrifices and all the hardship she's doing for our family.
- Thank you for the love.
- Thank you for continuously working hard abroad for almost two decades to support our family.
- Thank you for listening to me and responding with my messages whenever I need help.
- Thank you for being a good provider.
- Thank you for understanding me kahit na i have this guilt feeling na i disappoint you in some ways. I am still holding on to my promise.

Sorry for the drama.
I just need to let it out and this is the only way that I could think of.

Anyways, Do you have any ideas for treating your mom this Sunday? I got some ideas to share and I hope it would help.

1. Greet her.
A simple personal greeting from us will definitely appreciated. If they're away, write a letter or let's take advantage of Social Media. Make a collage or collect your videos together. It's cheap too.

2. Prepare a special dish for her.
If you're on a budget and don't have enough money to eat-out in Tagaytay or some fancy restaurants, It would be sweeter if you cook some special dish for her and serve it with the rest of the family.

3. Dalaga Treat Package.
Treat your mom in a facial spa, have her hair and nails done on a salon or have a full body massage. I tried these with my mom and it worked. She even take a lot of selfies. Kakaloka. You may buy some GCs then you can send it a gift.

4. Shop.
I know, it's burguoise. But your mom seldom go to the mall and go on shopping. Most of the time, tayo pa nga nagpapabili diba. So take her to the mall and let her shop her favorite clothes, shoes or bags. Lucky me, my mom is not maluho so i know this will not work on her. Haha.

So those are my tiny ideas on how to treat our moms on their special day.
Some are budget friendly and some are pwede na. Minsan lang to so let's give some effort this coming Sunday. 😜

Ilocos Escapade 2015

Most people say that travelling or finding an adventure with your partner will make the relationship stronger.
Do you agree with that too?
As for me, I would say Yes.
I am not saying that it would always work but even if you're single or not, YOU NEED TO LIVE YOUR LIFE. We've been busy working to earn for a living but sometimes we tend to forget how to live our lives. We need to unwind, enjoy and feel relaxed in some point. We need to appreciate what we have in this world that you never seen nor experience yet.
So I kept on searching, asked some of my friends where is the best place where me and boyfriend can celebrate our second anniversary in a tight budget. I told them that we would like to go out of town but we're undecided if its going to be by the beach, or go to Sagada or somewhere North.

Luckily, one of my former workmate suggested Mctrail Travel and Tours. We finally decided to choose Ilocos wherein we can enjoy the beaches and there are lots of itineraries to visit as well. Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte is located in North  Luzon, Philippines.  It's going to be an all-in-one package!
It's P3,500 each but I decided to upgrade our hotel which is for additional 500 pesos only.  Here's the itinerary provided by Jarah from Mctrail. She's very accommodating!

As you can see, there are lots of places to visit with. It will really worth your money! Believe me, Kuya Allan was very cool among the other drivers. Super bilis pero you know you'll be safe on the road. We have met cool people too and mostly na kasabayan namin are balikbayans. We went there to celebrate our 2nd anniversary but what makes it better is when we're able to mingle with the group. It was like a Barkada escapade! THE MORE, THE MERRIER! So TRUE :)

Here are some of the photos taken:
I love group pictures!

Vigan!

Kapurpurawan

Kalesa couple picture!

4x4 ride at Sandunes!

We'll definitely go back to this beautiful place!
More adventures please! :)

Xoxo,
