Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all mommies!
You're all amazing!

I would like to thank my mom for all the sacrifices and all the hardship she's doing for our family.
- Thank you for the love.
- Thank you for continuously working hard abroad for almost two decades to support our family.
- Thank you for listening to me and responding with my messages whenever I need help.
- Thank you for being a good provider.
- Thank you for understanding me kahit na i have this guilt feeling na i disappoint you in some ways. I am still holding on to my promise.

Sorry for the drama.
I just need to let it out and this is the only way that I could think of.

Anyways, Do you have any ideas for treating your mom this Sunday? I got some ideas to share and I hope it would help.

1. Greet her.
A simple personal greeting from us will definitely appreciated. If they're away, write a letter or let's take advantage of Social Media. Make a collage or collect your videos together. It's cheap too.

2. Prepare a special dish for her.
If you're on a budget and don't have enough money to eat-out in Tagaytay or some fancy restaurants, It would be sweeter if you cook some special dish for her and serve it with the rest of the family.

3. Dalaga Treat Package.
Treat your mom in a facial spa, have her hair and nails done on a salon or have a full body massage. I tried these with my mom and it worked. She even take a lot of selfies. Kakaloka. You may buy some GCs then you can send it a gift.

4. Shop.
I know, it's burguoise. But your mom seldom go to the mall and go on shopping. Most of the time, tayo pa nga nagpapabili diba. So take her to the mall and let her shop her favorite clothes, shoes or bags. Lucky me, my mom is not maluho so i know this will not work on her. Haha.

So those are my tiny ideas on how to treat our moms on their special day.
Some are budget friendly and some are pwede na. Minsan lang to so let's give some effort this coming Sunday. 😜

Ilocos Escapade 2015

Most people say that travelling or finding an adventure with your partner will make the relationship stronger.
Do you agree with that too?
As for me, I would say Yes.
I am not saying that it would always work but even if you're single or not, YOU NEED TO LIVE YOUR LIFE. We've been busy working to earn for a living but sometimes we tend to forget how to live our lives. We need to unwind, enjoy and feel relaxed in some point. We need to appreciate what we have in this world that you never seen nor experience yet.
So I kept on searching, asked some of my friends where is the best place where me and boyfriend can celebrate our second anniversary in a tight budget. I told them that we would like to go out of town but we're undecided if its going to be by the beach, or go to Sagada or somewhere North.

Luckily, one of my former workmate suggested Mctrail Travel and Tours. We finally decided to choose Ilocos wherein we can enjoy the beaches and there are lots of itineraries to visit as well. Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte is located in North  Luzon, Philippines.  It's going to be an all-in-one package!
It's P3,500 each but I decided to upgrade our hotel which is for additional 500 pesos only.  Here's the itinerary provided by Jarah from Mctrail. She's very accommodating!

As you can see, there are lots of places to visit with. It will really worth your money! Believe me, Kuya Allan was very cool among the other drivers. Super bilis pero you know you'll be safe on the road. We have met cool people too and mostly na kasabayan namin are balikbayans. We went there to celebrate our 2nd anniversary but what makes it better is when we're able to mingle with the group. It was like a Barkada escapade! THE MORE, THE MERRIER! So TRUE :)

Here are some of the photos taken:
I love group pictures!

Vigan!

Kapurpurawan

Kalesa couple picture!

4x4 ride at Sandunes!

We'll definitely go back to this beautiful place!
More adventures please! :)

Xoxo,
